Islamic Relief Kosova is currently looking a candidate for the position of “Finance Coordinator” to join our Team.

Job Responsibilities for Finance Coordinator:

This position holds the responsibility to support the Kosovo field office with a range of financial and administrative functions under direction from the Head of Finance. This will involve supporting an active field office delivering emergency response and recovery projects by ensuring the appropriate level of documentation, monitoring, reporting and compliance with donors and Islamic Relief financial guidelines and local laws.

  1. Maintened financial data and accounts of IRKS in a proper maner and according to International Accounting Standards, all laws and regulations in power.
  2. Makes sure that all documents are saved and filed according with finance management rules and chronologically.
  3. Entering and updating financial data, bank and safe lists based on documents, accounting policies and procedures of IRKS and AX.
  4. Make sure that all IRKS accounts are according to Acounting Standards and regulations in power.
  5. Accepts invoices/receipts and emails on a daily bases for banks including account statements and makes entering in the IRKS data base.
  6. Prepares and file the data of the projects as they get implemented.
  7. Prepares bank & safe reports and files them chronologically.
  8. Prepares and print daily, weekly monthly and yearly reports from database upon requests.
  9. Prints out attendance lists from system and files accordingly
  10. Receives local revenue and reconcile them with bank deposits as well as logs them into the system.
  11. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports for HQ, HoF of IRKS as needed.
  12. Prepares projects interim and final reports as per SLA`s.
  13. Recomand and monitores internal operational politics and procedures.
  14. Prepares budgets based on project proposals.
  15. Cooperates with HoF to clarify financial requirements, time of customer payments, and spending procedures.
  16. Implements new operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  17. Supervise financial staff with the positions: Finance Officer and Finance Assistant.
  18. Other duties to perform related to the position.

REQUIRED:

Professional Qualifications

1.At least 1 year relevant working experience in financial institutions-banks, finance departament is prefered.

Organizational skills, to manage, train and motivate.

2. Ability to judge fairly, to analyze a multitude of information, the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time, the ability to solve problems and to work under pressure and with confidential matters

3. Teamwork attitude, cooperative, with a tendency to adopt change.

4. Positive, self-balanced, trustworthy, discreet, tolerant, flexible approach with a clear focus on quality services and customer care.

5. Excellent communication skills, spoken and written in Albanian and English language desirable.

6. Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office common software and any database application that is used for financial management.

Driving license desirable.

Education Background

Faculty of Economics, Bank Finance, Management or Business Administration is obligated, any relevant training or working experience is desirable.
