Call for Expression of Interest
The Open Regional Fund Foreign Trade (ORF FT) is supporting the implementation of Additional Protocol5 (AP 5) to the CEFTA Agreement. Fostering cooperation between government and private sector is an important element for better implementation of trade facilitation reform measures, where the regional co- operation between the relevant entities plays a crucial role. The thematic focus is put on implementation of mutual recognition programmes: the Authorised Economic Operators (AEOs) and border documents that certify compliance with legal requirements as well as supporting a regional approach for joint risk management.
The ORF FT is tasked to contribute strengthening the private sector to engage in evidence-based advo- cacy, based on data derived, among others, from the monitoring of AP5 implementation. The project is further engaged in improving public-private dialogue in the region regarding trade issues by supporting the AEO Association in delivering results to the membership.
In order to support the process mentioned above, GIZ is looking for:
Support to the AEO Association with the role of the AEO Association Manager
The role of the AEO Association Manager will lead the operations of the AEO Association in line with its goals and objectives and ensure delivery of the Association’s Action Plan. The AEO Association Manager will be responsible for maintaining the Association on a sound financial and operational footing, and for its expansion in membership, activities and programs.
The applicant will become eligible for the evaluation by providing the minimum of:
- Evidence on 1 reference project/engagement in Trade cooperation, Business Advocacy and Pri-vate sector development and
- Evidence on 1 reference project/engagement in Eastern Europe in the last 3 years.
The eligible applicants shall be evaluated based on the CV and financial offer provided.
