Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Steel Detailer proficient in Tekla Structures (or Advance Steel) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural steel and metalwork fabrication processes. We seek someone who can effectively work in a team, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working on diverse projects, including structural steel and architectural metalwork packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and Submit Drawings: Generate accurate 3D models and produce detailed structural steel fabrication drawings for client approval, adhering to tight deadlines.
• Project Specifications: Provide clear, concise specifications on material grades, paint systems, bolt specs, and other key project requirements.
• Cutting & Materials Lists: Prepare detailed cutting lists, material lists, and manage variations to contract, ensuring that all resources are efficiently allocated.
• Fabrication Drawings: Develop fabrication drawings in line with CE execution classes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality assurance.
• CNC Data Generation: Produce data for CNC machines (Plasma cutters, drill lines) to facilitate efficient and accurate fabrication.
• Site Erection Drawings: Prepare site erection drawings and collaborate closely with senior detailers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure that all documentation is maintained in accordance with company procedures and CE accreditation standards.
• Communication & Coordination: Liaise with supervisors, project managers, and other team members to ensure the timely delivery of project drawings. Provide daily updates on project status.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures (or Advance Steel) with strong experience in creating 3D models and fabrication drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of structural steel and metalwork fabrication processes.
• Experience with steel design principles and familiarity with CE execution classes.
• Strong ability to produce and manage detailed cutting lists, material specifications, and site erection drawings.
• Solid understanding of industry standards, including CNC data generation for Plasma cutters and drill lines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with team members and provide clear updates to supervisors.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
• Previous experience working on metalwork projects, such as metal stairs, balconies, and balustrades, is highly desirable.
