Senior System Specialist (3)

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage, organize and coordinate the Infrastructure Windows Systems Team
• Responsible for  DC & Compute services and Storage Service Tech Tower under GCTO.
• Capacity Manager: Translate business needs and plans into capacity and performance requirements for services and IT infrastructure, and ensure that future capacity and performance needs can be fulfilled.
• Responsible for creating proper Policies and Procedures for all administrated applications and systems also documenting their configuration and functionality.
• Plans, design, engineers, and constructs system resources. Troubleshoots problems with networks and systems. Monitor system logs and activity on domain servers and devices. Determines appropriate configurations of system’s hardware and software.
• Responsible for planning, designing and operating the Windows 20012/2016 environment and other platform systems.
• Designs, implements and maintains Active Directory services, Group Policies, Schema Management, DFS, Replication technologies, LDAP/Kerberos Authentication, and Security Delegation; DHCP and DNS Servers; Microsoft System Center.
• Actively Participate in ITIL/ISO 20000 maintenance.
• Responsible to install, develop, administrate, maintain, manage and monitor all RBKO Microsoft Servers and Systems.
• Design and implement VMware Infrastructure Systems and its related technologies. Install, monitor and troubleshoot HP Chase, IBM Blade Center and SAN Storage Infrastructure; update firmware, patches. Create, maintain and develop SAN fiber switch zoning; schedule running scripts etc.
• Administrate, maintain and manage SVC (San Volume Controller) and IBM Flash System where T24 data are stored in Head office and Disaster Recovery Site.
• Participate in any IT Systems related projects using proper project management techniques.

Qualifications and experience:

• University or 2 years of college in IT on degree in telecommunications and preferably in Information Technology is recommended.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with an financial company, IT Service Provider or large organization;
• Good knowledge of Internet Information Services
• Understand concept of Windows Systems.
• Professional with Windows 2008/2012 Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing, Mail Servers.
• Good knowledge with backup software such as TSM and Veeam;
• Good knowledge of Office365 suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access);
• Experience with SAN/NAS Storage systems including storage fabrics, storage devices, and storage software
• Experience with VMware vSphere; installation and configuring VMware ESX, vCenter, vSphere; VMware Converter, high availability features such as VMotion, HA, DRS, vSwitch, VMFS file system; Horizon etc.;
• Good organizational skills;
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Effective coordination and delegation;
• Able to demonstrate initiative and innovation in a dynamic environment;
• Fluent spoken English (with good writing/reading skills)
