Title: FINANCE AND ADMIN INTERN
Status: Full-time – Paid Internship
Location: Prishtina, Kosovo
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Finance and Admin Officer and the Executive Director, the Finance and Admin Intern will support day-to-day financial processes, assist with administrative and office operation tasks, and maintain confidentiality across all assigned responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with day-to-day financial and administrative operations, including basic bookkeeping.
- Support the preparation of financial documents as requested and under the supervision of the Finance and Admin Officer and the Executive Director.
- Maintain an organised and up-to-date filing system for financial and administrative records (physical and electronic).
- Scan and archive financial and administrative documents.
- Provide logistical and administrative support in office operations.
- Support the maintenance of the inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Adhere to organizational policies and donor regulations in all assigned tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles; prior experience (internship, volunteer work, or student projects) is an asset.
- Good computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office (Excel in particular); with an interest in developing skills in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a positive and collaborative mindset.
