Islamic Relief Kosova is currently looking a candidate for the position of “Media & Communication Officer” to join our Team.
Job Responsibilities for Media & Communication Officer:
- Develop, write, edit, distribute content and communications materials, including content for social media, website, press releases, reports and other distribution channels that communicates the organization's activities
- Capture photos, videos of different projects and edit visual content for multiple platforms for the needs of the organization
- Monitor online and offline campaigns and report on results
- Manage the organization's social media profile and presence
- Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos and collate analytics and metrics
- Promote communications and marketing materials through appropriate social channels
- Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the organization, and coordinate publicity events as required
- Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standards
- Collaborate with staff and management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience
- Make sure key messages are consistent with your business life strategies
- Promote additional projects to support new and existing campaigns launches
- Recommend creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
- Other responsibilities related to the position.
REQUIRED:
Professional Qualifications
- Experience in a communications, photography or marketing role
- Familiarized with the best practices of main social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
- Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team
- Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset
- Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices
- Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
Education Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Media or related .
