Compact Program Summary
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo (the “Government” or “GoK”) and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”), a United States government agency, signed a grant aimed at accelerating the country’s transition towards an energy future that is more sustainable, inclusive, reliable and affordable. The GoK has ratified the compact and has designated a new entity as an autonomous agency to exercise and perform the GoK’s rights and obligations to oversee, manage and implement the Compact Programs. This entity will be referred to as MCA-Kosovo.
The Headhunter Karriera LLC acting as the Recruitment Consultant is now recruiting for the position of the Executive Assistant, Office of the CEO of MCA-Kosovo Entity.
Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides crucial executive support to the CEO, managing tasks such as document and communication tracking, travel logistics, and schedule management. These support services are essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of the CEO's leadership and representational roles. The position is based in Pristina, Kosovo.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather and summarize data on MCA activities to inform planning and assessment, and support communication from the Office of the CEO.
- Draft and disseminate communications from the Office of the CEO and ensure follow-up by stakeholders.
- Organize meeting schedules, travel and logistics, and financial reporting for the Office of the CEO, ensuring responsiveness of service and consistency with established standards and guidelines.
- Facilitate logistical preparations for MCA workshops, meetings, and events, and manage changes in schedule or venue.
- Inform and communicate with MCA teams regarding developments in key program areas and engagements by the Office of the CEO with external stakeholders to support program management and execution.
- Exchange information with external stakeholders and prepare briefs/documents to support the CEO's communications, representation, and meetings activities.
- Oversee the CEO's calendar and update databases on their contacts and meetings, and proactively monitor work programs and coordinate activities.
- Maintain documentation in the Office of the CEO and ensure their accuracy and currency while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Office Management or other related fields;
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in executing secretarial and/or executive support and/or managerial functions;
- Demonstrated experience and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar office suite;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Albanian;
Preferred background and work experience:
- Experience in working with international organizations or donors;
- Fluency in another official language of Kosovo (Serbo-Croatian or other);
