Head of Credit Risk and Collection
IBAS, a licensed institution for electronic money issuance, international money transfers, loans for payments,, and investment advisory for financial instruments, is the fastest-growing financial institution in the Western Balkans. We are seeking a seasoned and visionary professional to join our team as Head of Credit Risk and Collections.
This leadership role is vital to ensuring the integrity of our operations, compliance with regulations, and the sustainable growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk and collections policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and proactively adapt to any changes in the financial landscape.
- Lead the Credit Risk and Collections teams, fostering a high-performance culture and driving strategic objectives.
- Monitor and manage credit risk exposure across all products, leveraging advanced assessment tools and methodologies.
- Oversee the collections process, implementing effective strategies to maximize recovery and minimize delinquency rates.
- Provide strategic insights and detailed reports on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and collection metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and launch financial products while managing associated risks.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in credit risk management and collections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit risk management and collections, preferably in the financial or banking sector, at least three years.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks governing financial institutions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on results and team development.
- Expertise in credit assessment tools, financial modeling, and data analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to create and update comprehensive policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
