Islamic Relief Kosova is currently looking a candidate for the position of “Finance Assistant” to join our Team.
Job Responsibilities for Finance Assistant:
- Receiving of donations in the office;
- Depositing funds in the bank, collected from donations;
- Reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for the revenues and expenses of the Local Fundraising department;
- Registration of incomes and expenses in the software (Microsoft Dynamics AX - recognition of which is not mandatory);
- Establishing accurate transaction data of the department's activity;
- Checking and verifying the invoices and documentation of the organization;
- Balancing the cash register;
- Correctly keeping the documentation in the file;
- Respecting the legislation in force and the instructions of the IRK;
- Performs work and tasks in the relevant field according to the requirements and needs of the organization, in coordination with the job description.
REQUIRED:
Professional Qualifications
- Relevant working experience in financial institutions, Finance Department is preferred;
- Familiarized with financial operations;
- Good Knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
- Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office common software and any database application that is used for financial matters;
- Ability to judge fairly, to analyze a multitude of information, the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time, the ability to solve problems and to work under pressure and with confidential matters;
- Teamwork attitude, cooperative, with a tendency to adopt change;
- Positive, self-balanced, trustworthy, discreet, tolerant, flexible approach with a clear focus on quality services and customer care.
Education Background
Faculty of Economics, Accounting, Bank and Finance, Management or Business Administration.
