Dispatcher (Experienced) - Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and Schedule Shipments: E iciently plan and schedule the movement of goods using intermodal transportation methods, including rail, truck, and sea.
• Monitor Shipment Progress: Track and manage shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Communicate any delays or issues to customers and relevant parties.
• Optimize Routes: Develop and implement optimal routing strategies to maximize e iciency and reduce costs while meeting customer requirements.
• Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving any issues related to shipments.
• Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including documentation, tracking information, and communication logs.
• Collaborate with Drivers: Work closely with drivers to provide clear instructions, support, and resolve any on-road issues or emergencies.
• Problem Solving: Quickly and e ectively address any unexpected challenges or disruptions in the transportation process.

Requirements:

Good English Skills: Speak and write clearly in English to communicate well with our team and customers. Experience: Years of experience as a dispatcher in the intermodal trucking industry, preferably in IL or TX area.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of intermodal transportation, including rail, truck, and sea logistics.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Capable of managing multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.

Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to quickly and efficiently solve problems and make decisions under pressure.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant

software.

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and communication.

Flexibility: Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with variable hours.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to achieve common goals.

Working Hours: 8-hour shifts.

Compensation is negotiable, based on the experience.
