TITAN SHARRCEM is currently looking for a proficient and driven Accountant to join our Finance Team. As an Accountant, he/she will be pivotal in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update accounts receivable/accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assist with reviewing expenses, etc., as assigned.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns and other reports to the tax authorities.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
• Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.
• Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Assist with other accounting projects.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Chartered Accountancy would be a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience within an accounting department.
• Sound knowledge of tax legislation and requirements.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• SAP knowledge preferred, or working knowledge of similar ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to go the extra mile.
• Good knowledge of the English language
