Digital Innovations Coordinator

Digital Innovation Gateway for Kosovo (DIG-4K)Project

PROGRAM SUMMARY

Co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Kosovo, the Digital Innovation Gateway for Kosovo (DIG-4K) project seeks to harness and foster digital transformation in Kosovo. The initiative is led by the Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren in partnership with six domestic implementing partners and one affiliated entity (private sector, public sector, academia and CSO’s) and aims to establish Kosovo as a hub for digital innovation and training. The project's objectives revolve around empowering local businesses, educational institutions, civil society organizations, and public stakeholders, thereby creating an ecosystem that supports entrepreneurial success and drives digital innovation at local, national, and regional levels. DIG-4K targets a wide range of groups including MSMEs, startups, industry associations, technology firms, public sector entities, educational institutions, CSOs, and rural communities. Work pages of the project include: 1. Project Management and Coordination,2. Digital Transformation Centre - Advisory Services, 3. Digital Skills Academy, 4. Tech Access and Testing Lab, 5. Funding and Investment Support, 6. Ecosystem Development and Networking, 7. Upscaling, Exploitation, Communication, and Dissemination.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy and Planning:

  • Assist in the implementation of ITP’s core values, principles, and strategies.
  • Support the Team Leader in setting action priorities and organizing resources to achieve objectives.
  • Recognize opportunities for innovative initiatives and assist in creating a collaborative project environment.
  • Contribute to cross-program communication and knowledge-sharing.

Program Coordination:

  • Ensure program activities are executed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with project goals.
  • Ensure that project activities meet the needs of beneficiaries and partners and adhere to ITP’s standards and values.
  • Support the Team Leader in managing day-to-day program administration and operational tasks.
  • Aid in monitoring and evaluating project impact and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with partners on activity planning, targeting, and any needed capacity building.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Support effective and positive communication across project stakeholders, including ITP staff, partners, and relevant entities.
  • Work to foster a collaborative team environment and aid in the integration of new team members.
  • Aid in building stakeholder capacity and deepening their understanding of project roles and processes.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Assist the Team Leader in ensuring compliance with donor and ITP regulations.
  • Support adherence to grant agreements, ITP policies, and applicable Kosovo government regulations.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Reports Directly To: Team Leader

Works Directly With: Six implementing partners, ITP’s: Operations Unit,

Finance &Compliance Unit, and the Technical Support/Business Development Unit.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines).
  • Additional qualifications in digital innovation or project coordination are an asset.

Competencies

  • Project Coordination Skills: Ability to assist in managing project work flows and activities efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to engage with stakeholders and support project reporting.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Abilities: Ability to contribute to the strategic planning process and analyze project needs.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility to work in dynamic environments.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in digital innovation, community engagement, or economic development.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation trends and the local digital landscape.
  • Experience working in diverse, multi-stakeholder projects with measurable results.

Job Location: Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren, Ukë Bytyqi, p.n. 20000 Prizren, Kosovo

Expected start date: 1 January 2025

Project Duration: 48 months
