staffiX is a company specialized in the field of recruitment and selection of staff. We are searching for a motivated and experienced leader to join our new client’s team, a major leader in Cloud-based Business Communication actively operating in 18 countries, in the role of General Manager. The main responsibilities of the candidate will include taking a hands-on approach to the setup of the new site in Kosovo, focusing on day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth coordination across all company divisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership of setting up and managing the Prishtina office, ensuring it aligns with operational goals and values while overseeing the budget and ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Act as the main point of contact between the Prishtina site and client’s headquarters in Germany, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Develop and implement strategies to scale the site’s operations and grow the team
  • Partner with HQ People & Culture HR to lead local recruitment efforts and ensure smooth onboarding processes, fostering a high-performing team and excellent employee experience
  • Be a sparring partner in all aspects of office setup, ensuring operational readiness
  • Build and promote an office culture that reflects our client’s values

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business management or a related field
  • Proven experience managing or leading teams, preferably in a tech or operations-focused environment
  • Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Albanian, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational skills, as well as attention to detail and prioritization to meet the deadlines
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to tackling challenges and implementing solutions
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Humble to learn and keen on knowledge sharing

OFFER:

  • Salary 4,000 – 4,500€ Gross, based on experience
