Chemonics International seeks middle to senior-level specialists for an anticipated USAID/Kosovo Community Cooperation Activity. The activity will aim to change the attitudes and behaviors of individuals and institutions to build consensus around a shared future in a multiethnic state. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.  

We are recruiting for middle to senior level experts with experience in the following areas:  

• Community engagement and mobilization
• Public participation
• Civic engagement and dialogue
• Youth engagement and advocacy
• Municipal development
• Social and behavior change
• Gender equality and social inclusion

We are also recruiting for middle to senior-level program operations specialists with experience in the following areas: 

• Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
• Human resources and operations
• Donor-funded project financial management and accounting
• Grants, subcontracts, procurement management
• Strategic communications

Illustrative qualifications include:   

• Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience public administration, international relations, development, law or related field required; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience in civic engagement and dialogue, community engagement and mobilization, municipal development or other related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with government counterparts, civil society organizations and local media.
• Experience with USAID and other donor projects preferred
• Strong experience in capacity development, training, and mentoring.  
• Experience with procurement procedures, small grants management, and office operations while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations. 
• Proficiency in English required; fluency in Albanian and/or Serbian required.
