Call for offers for provision of external audit services for the year ending December 2022

Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) - http://www.islamic-relief.org/ - is an international humanitarian organization with its headquarters in Birmingham, UK. IRW is present in 45 countries and has offices in Kosovo since 1999. Islamic Relief Worldwide the Kosovo field office is active in implementing humanitarian and development projects including emergency, sustainable livelihood, health, educational, infrastructural and similar project with the aim to support poor families, families with orphans, families under social assistance, people with disabilities and marginalized groups in the Republic of Kosovo.

Islamic Relief Worldwide the Kosovo field office invites eligible audit companies to submit a written proposal as per the requirements stated below.

YOUR PROPOSAL SHOULD CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING CONSIDERATIONS:

• Eligibility – certified legal auditor by the professional accounting and auditing associations in Kosovo that are based in the Law No.04/L–014 on Accounting, Financial Reporting and Audit (Law No.04/L–014) adopted in 2011, which superseded the UNMIK Regulation No. 2001/30 on the Establishment of the Kosovo Board for Standards for Financial Reporting and a Regime for Financial Reporting of Business Organizations.
• Your staff stability history at Senior management level; i.e. stating what assurance you can provide IRW Kosovo field office in the assignment of your permanent personnel to the engagement
• Experience of your firm in relation to the scope of audits for non-profit organizations and any experience in Auditing International non-profit organizations will be an advantage
• Detailed audit methodology including your approach to risk and fraud detection and Audit quality control
• Format of draft annual financial statements required for Audit
• Structure of the Management letter
• Your fee proposal to conduct the basic audit function. The proposal should also state that any increase in the audit fee will be immediately disclosed
• This disclosure should include an estimation of the increased fees and the reason for the increase
• The estimated number of hours to complete the audit by classification of your employees, i.e. partners, seniors, juniors, etc.

The companies are advised to send an e-mail to request the TOR from [email protected]. After receiving the ToR the companies are advised to prepare the offers and send by email to [email protected], and/or send offers in an sealed envelope with the title offer for provision of external audit services for the year ending December 2022 for IRW Kosova Field Office no later than 16:00 h on the 4th of November 2022. Every offer received after this time and date will not be taken into consideration by the procurement.
