Based on the current organizational scheme and the need to fill vacancies in KEDS Divisions, the Human Resources Department, on 2022-08-04announces vacancies for the following positions:
Accounts receivable, accounts payable and tax expert
Key tasks and responsibilities :
- Ensures the functionality of the Accounts Receivable, Payable, Treasury system and monitors the accounting transactions placed in the General Ledger and controls the District Accounting data for accurate reporting of accounts payable;
- Registers the payment lists according to the submitted reports and makes monthly reconciliations with the main book;
- Assists in the preparation of tax reports for rents on a monthly basis as well as all related activities;
- Prepares the daily register of cash expenses with the relevant invoices and the daily register of payments for supplier invoices and creates reports according to requirements;
- Controls the overall process of payable and receivable payments that reflect the analysis of IFRS and tax legislation in Kosovo;
- Assists in the preparation of the VAT book of purchases and sales according to the tax legislation of Kosovo;
- Cooperates with the Treasury to determine the payment allocations of Accounts Receivable and Payable and assists as needed in the fulfillment of other professional duties;
- Serves as a point of contact with the Tax Administration of Kosovo for all matters related to Accounting;
- Assists and prepares the documentation of the list of requests from internal/external auditors and the Tax Administration of Kosovo regarding Accounts receivable, payable and taxes;
- Performs additional duties as requested by Management.
Requirements and qualifications :
- University qualification, Bachelor's level, Faculty of Economics;
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in Accounting;
- Be a certified accountant/technician or in the process of certification in: (SCAAK, ACCA)
- Knowledge of the English language is preferable;
- To have knowledge of international accounting standards and legislation in force.
