Main Duties: Project Officer - Supports the Outcome Coordinator (OC) in preparation of all project documents and agreements in collaboration with partners; furthermore, enables regular communication with project partners and all stakeholders;
- Developing and implementation of a monitoring system; and review on regular basis project details, deliverables and scheduled as per the project implementation plan; monitor personally in the field on a regular basis;
- Supports organization on capacity development initiatives, conferences or workshops and provide technical inputs during different events and workshops;
- Responsible for drafting contracts, certificates, and other project related document necessities of project implementation.
- Coordinates with implementing partner on project activities and for cooperation with stakeholders on regular basis;
- Supports the OC in the realization of planned activities through regular field visits, review of the partners' reports, prepare field or activity reports, and recommend adjustments to improve project implementation.
- Preparing the monthly report, briefing notes, meeting minutes, etc.
- Responsible for all data collection, analysis, and learning activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish of the project;
- Oversees the process for procurement of goods and services related to the project activities and makes tracking of financial and material resources;
- Conducts other activities as requested by the OC or as deemed necessary within the framework of the Caritas Switzerland Mission in Kosovo;
- Maintains written track record of all project-related communication and agreements, also ensure that all project documentation is stored in IT System.
Requirements: - Master’s degree (Education- preferably on Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Entrepreneurship, Business management);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international funded projects in the field of education, TVET, income or a related field;
- Proven experience in development, implementing projects and project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)
- Experience in collaboration with International and National NGOs, Government Institutions, and other stakeholders working with TVET and education;
- Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting;
- Knowledge on TVET system in Kosovo, legislation, and the relevant governmental agencies;
- Knowledge on gender equality and mainstreaming on education, TVET and employment;
- Advanced skills in planning, written and oral communication, facilitation, and coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken);
- Fluency in at least one local language (Albanian or Serbian); Knowledge of a second local language is an asset;
- Very good skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Working experience with Swiss Organisations or other international NGOs is an asset;
- Experience with organizational culture and development, gender mainstreaming and conflict-sensitivity is an asset;
- A valid driving license;
- Willingness to travel throughout Kosovo and internationally.
