IT Helpdesk Employee (m/f/x)

As of now – full time – Pristina

To support our IT Team we are looking for you - as IT-Helpdesk Staff.

We are also looking forward to receiving applications from network administrators, IT specialists, IT application managers, IT technicians, IT support staff, IT experts or IT specialists.

YOUR TASKS

• You support the ticket system Jira
• You will be responsible for 1st level support for all our a&o hostels across Europe as well as for our Berlin administration
• you administrate VoIP telephony
• You maintain the active directories
• You carry out the necessary software updates
• You manage all mobile phones used in the company
• You take part in the on-call duty outside regular office hours in alternation with your colleagues
• You look after our networks and IT structure

YOU HAVE

• a completed education in IT or equivalent qualification gained through work experience and further education
• experience with:
  • ticket systems (ideally Jira)
  • firewalls (ideally Sophos and OpnSense)
  • Operating system knowledge (printers, profiles, application software(Office) etc.)
  • DHCP/DNS and Active Directory
  • error handling in distributed network architecture
• a hands-on mentality
• Willingness to rotate on-call for night shifts and weekends
• you are problem-solving oriented, a team player, flexible and responsible
• B2-level knowledge of English - of course, we would be happy to hear any other language you speak, knowledge of German is an advantage.
