At Newborn Outsourcing Solutions, we are looking for highly skilled professionals to join our team for various roles in the Engineering, Design & Construction sector. We provide outsourcing solutions to overseas engineering and design companies (UK & US) and we are currently recruiting for the following positions:

• Project Planner
• Estimator
• CAD Drafter
• Procurement Specialist
• Document Controller

Project Planner:

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning, Resource Allocation, Timeline Management, Risk Management, Progress Tracking, Reporting, Cost Management

Key Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in project planning or a related role. Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, or other scheduling tools. Familiarity with project management systems is a plus.

Estimator:

Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors based on project specifications, drawings, and plans. Review project documents to determine material quantities and labor requirements for construction work. Develop competitive bids and proposals for construction projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience as an Estimator, preferably in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure industry. Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Buildertrend, ProEst, CostX, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Strong ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

CAD Drafter:

Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for construction projects, including architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details based on design specifications provided by architects or engineers. Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks) to create and modify models, drawings, and blueprints for construction projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications: A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in the construction or engineering industry. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM.

Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities: Supplier Sourcing and Selection, Procurement Planning, Cost Estimation and Budget Management, Negotiation, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management.

Key Skills and Qualifications: A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally within the construction or infrastructure industry.

Document Controller:

Key Responsibilities: Document Management, Archiving, Version Control, Document Distribution, Compliance, Collaboration with Project Teams, Tracking Submittals, Quality Control.

Key Skills and Qualifications: A degree or certification in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in document control, administration, or a related field, ideally in the construction or engineering industry.

All positions are for either UK or US companies - therefore fluency in written and spoken English is required.
