We welcome applications from motivated individuals who are Kosovo citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents for the following post in the Greening Private Enterprises in Kosovo (GPEK) project, in Pristina, Kosovo. The expected starting date is February 2026.

Project Description: The Greening Private Enterprises in Kosovo (GPEK) project, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, supports Kosovo’s private sector in transitioning toward greener and more sustainable business models. By promoting resource efficiency, renewable energy, circular-economy practices, and compliance with emerging environmental standards, GPEK contributes to building a more competitive, resilient, and environmentally responsible business ecosystem. The project is currently in its inception phase (1 May 2025 - 31 January 2026), with the main implementation phase expected to start on 1 February 2026 and end on 31 January 2031.
Position Description: The Communications, Knowledge Management and Learning Lead is responsible for designing and implementing an integrated approach to communications, knowledge management and learning that connects project evidence, adaptive management, and external visibility across all GPEK outcomes. The role ensures that learning and communication outputs are evidence-based, donor-compliant, and aligned with GPEK’s systemic-change approach and Communication for Development principles.
MAIN TASKS
Communications (indicative 70%)
- Lead the creation and dissemination of high-quality content (stories, videos, briefs, newsletters, media kits), ensuring alignment with Helvetas standards and donor requirements.
- Oversee all communications and visibility efforts, ensuring consistency, branding compliance, and accuracy across channels and stakeholder groups.
- Plan and implement awareness and public engagement campaigns using Communication for Development (C4D) principles to influence green business behaviors.
- Translate research and evidence into accessible communication products that inform public discourse and strengthen green transition knowledge.
- Support donor reporting and representation by ensuring outputs are evidence-based, MRM-aligned, and approved per internal protocols.
- Manage editorial processes, service providers, and media partnerships, maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and professional engagement.
- Coordinate visibility and communication support for events (workshops, conferences, dialogues), including content planning, promotion, and documentation.
Knowledge Management and Learning (indicative 30%)
- Design and maintain an integrated Knowledge Management and Learning (KML) system aligned with GPEK’s systemic-change approach, Monitoring and Results Measurement framework, and donor standards.
- Facilitate structured internal learning (reflection sessions, learning briefs), ensuring lessons feed into strategy, reporting, and communications.
- Ensure KML outputs contribute to positioning GPEK externally by translating learning into credible, public-facing knowledge products.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, development studies, public policy, business management, or a related field. A master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications are an asset.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in communications for development cooperation, sustainability, market systems, or private-sector development. Specific experience in green economy communication or knowledge management is an asset.
- Proven ability to design and implement integrated communication and learning strategies, linking evidence, learning, and visibility across diverse stakeholders and channels.
- Solid knowledge of donor visibility standards, results-based frameworks, and best practices in evidence-based communication.
- Outstanding writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear, compelling stories, case studies, and knowledge products tailored to different audiences.
- Proficiency in creating high-quality visual and multimedia content (e.g., infographics, short videos, digital assets) independently using online tools.
- Familiarity with knowledge management and collaboration platforms, including tools for organizing, tagging, and disseminating project learning and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams, media partners, and service providers.
- Fluency in English and Albanian and/or Serbian (spoken and written).
- Willingness and ability to travel within Kosovo. A valid driving license is required.
WE OFFER YOU
The Communications, Knowledge Management and Learning Lead is a full-time, multi-year position, with an expected start date in February 2026. The appointment will be subject to a six-month probation period, in line with Helvetas employment policies. Subject to satisfactory performance, the position will be continued based on an annual employment agreement, with the possibility of extension for the duration of the project.
