Accountant, finance and logistics officer, Prishtina office

  • Overall Description of the job position: The Accountant is responsible for the accounting, finance and logistics operations of the company.

Duties

  1. Issuing and posting sales invoices, expenses, bank transactions into the accounting system.
  2. Reimburse, verify and count petty cash box as necessary.
  3. Distributing staff payroll, salary/travel advances and other miscellaneous pay warrants.
  4. Stock management, preparation of orders to the suppliers, monitoring import processes.
  5. Assists the sales team in offer preparations.
  6. Maintaining the contracts and the assets lists of the company.
  7. Work with external accountants for the periodical VAT reports and annual book closing
  8. Daily, weekly and monthly reports to the management.
  9. Representing and organizing all financial procedures and tasks assigned by the employer to improve and maintain the work.
  10. To represent the company in relation to financial reporting to tax offices and any other competent authority in the Republic of Kosovo.
  11. Work and implement the company's internal regulations carefully.
  12. Prepares the monthly cash flow plan and updates on weekly basis.
  13. Responsible to collect customer dues.
  14. Responsible for maintenance of prices and items in the system.
  15. Perform other related work as required.

Qualification

  1. Bachelor or Master’s degree in finance/accounting.
  2. Knowledge of general accounting and tax legislation.
  3. Experience in Prodata system
  4. At least 2-3 year’s work experience as an accountant in a commercial company.
  5. Strong analytical skills and focus on the detail.
  6. Strong customer focus and ability to deliver value.
  7. Excellent verbal/ written communications skills in Albanian and English languages.
  8. Computer literate (Microsoft office).
  9. Driving license would be a plus.
