Call for expressions of interest
for participation in the “Training of Trainers” for Career Guidance
The German-Kosovar project “Fit for Jobs” invites qualified teachers at lower and upper secondary schools to submit expression of interest for participation in the “Training of Trainers for Career Guidance Training Program”.
GIZ supports its partner, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation in developing an innovative and sustainable career orientation system. Through its measures, the GIZ project is supporting 20 lower-secondary schools in 13 municipalities of Kosovo in increasing their capacities in career orientation and counseling. To ensure the implementation of the action-oriented career guidance and education, the project foresees to improve the level of education and awareness on career guidance (through this training) with focus on building the career path of students (career management skills) and to improve the quality of teaching on career education in schools in Kosovo.
This training program targets teachers (of social sciences, language, natural sciences, ICT, etc.) in the lower secondary schools (grades 6-9) and will consist of thematic units covering three main areas of Career Guidance: career information, career orientation and career counselling. The Training of Trainers will take place in February-March 2023.
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
- Qualification details of the applicant (CV with letter of interest, reference letters, similar experiences on the field of providing workshop modules/trainings on career guidance)
- Education level required for this consultancy (at least master’s degree in social sciences, education, linguistic, ICT or natural sciences).
- Experience – at least 3 years of work experience on providing accredited school trainings in the relevant field and minimum 5 years of experience in the field of teaching in lower secondary schools from 6 to 9 grades. Experience from the field of career guidance is highly recommended.
Interested teachers are invited to submit expression of interest in English or Albanian language. The deadline for submitting the application is 27 January 2023 at 16:30 through a closed envelope to GIZ offices in Pristina, Rr.
