Your contribution will be
- Supporting in the development and implementation process of an environmental education concept including guided tours at BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina.
- Preparing, implement, and evaluate of visitor surveys.
- Displaying and distribute informational materials throughout the sanctuary.
- Supporting on implementing the volunteer work program including topics such as animal welfare and environmental education.
- Welcoming visitors to the sanctuary, making it a unique and memorable experience for them by providing knowledgeable and engaging information while on the tour.
- Organizing guided groups and individual tours as well as working with school groups.
- Working closely with schoolteachers in implementing the educational program.
- Prepare educational materials (prepare and give presentations) for kindergarten and school students for activities which will be implemented either in the sanctuary or at school campuses.
Your profile ideally illustrates
- Previous experience working as a Tour Guide or Education Coordinator for international NGOs or relevant corporate sector experience
- Relevant qualification or proven work experience
- Strong verbal English skills a plus
- Willingness to travel as well as a valid driver’s license
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
