Architect/Estimator

Job Summary

We are looking for someone highly motivated that is eager to learn and up for a challenge. The candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for the organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the field team to formulate the scope of work for unit construction renovation projects.
• Generate 2D drawings based on Matterport scans and create kitchen layout drawings as required.
• Solicit proposals and quotes from multiple subcontractors through Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
• Coordinate with the Contracting and Procurement Department to assess and onboard new subcontractors/suppliers.
• Prepare documentation for contract award and establish project schedule agreements.
• Facilitate the procurement of materials and other necessary items to ensure project goals are met.
• Monitor and track construction progress, providing regular follow-ups and updates.
• Conduct analysis on spending trends using MS Excel
• Maintain up-to-date project progress on the Airtable platform across all ongoing projects.
• Schedule and coordinate various meetings, phone calls, and site visits
  Perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager as needed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• Advanced level of written and spoken English proficiency.
• Must possess intercultural skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively work with all levels of company personnel.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office package & project estimating tools.
• Knowledge of Revit Autodesk and visualization programs will be an advantage.
