Call for expressions of interest
for participation in the “Training of Trainers” for Career Counselling
The German-Kosovar project “Fit for Jobs” invites qualified school psychologist and pedagogues at lower secondary schools to submit expression of interest for participating in the “Training of Trainers for the Career Counselling Training Program”.
GIZ supports its partner, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation in developing an innovative and sustainable career orientation system. Through its measures, the GIZ project is supporting 20 lower-secondary schools in 13 municipalities of Kosovo in increasing their capacities in career orientation and counseling. As part of this support, school psychologists and pedagogues will be supported in their capacity development through accredited trainings, focusing on their role as a career counselor for lower secondary school level.
This Training of trainers (ToT) program targets school psychologists, school pedagogues and school career counselors in the lower secondary schools (grades 6-9) and will consist of thematic units covering the main areas of career counselling. The Training of Trainers will take place in February-March 2023.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
- Qualification details of the applicant (CV with letter of interest, reference letters, similar experiences on the field of providing workshop modules/trainings on career guidance)
- Education level required for this consultancy (at least master’s degree in social sciences, education).
- Experience – at least 3 years of work experience on providing trainings in the relevant field and/or minimum 5 years of experience in the field of providing psychological or pedagogical services in lower secondary schools from 6 to 9 grades. Experience from the field of career guidance is highly recommended.
