A career in our Deals Strategy practice, within Deals Transaction Services, will provide you the opportunity to help organisations realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets. Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their company. Our team helps companies navigate the accounting and financial reporting challenges of business combinations. As part of the team, you’ll develop roadmaps of the driving economic objectives, determine the appropriate professionals needed, and consider financial reporting implications for deals.

As a Manager, you will develop your portfolio of deals and manage complex projects and experienced teams of advisors. Your key contribution will be to identify and pursue opportunities in the market for deals in the form of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and project financing, restructuring and liquidations etc.

You will be in charge of managing related projects and clients to bring value through deal analysis and execution..

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Identify and develop deal opportunities
• Manage deal related projects and clients
• Lead technical elements of project delivery and supervise and support work of staff.
• Develop your technical abilities and those of your team
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Engage in market eminence activities and develop the PwC brand locally
  

We require:

• Previous experience in working with multiple corporate or public sector clients in identifying and structuring deal opportunities;
• Previous experience (preferably +5 years) in delivering transaction or deal related professional services;
• Experience with multiple project and team management;
• Diligent, flexible, organized, an analytical thinker;
• Excellent spoken and written English and advanced computer skills;
• Ability to adapt to an intensive work environment and maintain focus under stress;
• Ability motivate teams and develop staff both in technical and soft skills;
• Enthusiastic management team that brings innovation and and agile personality;
