Position Summary
The People & Talent Manager plays a key role in helping Spaxel scale by leading recruitment efforts, strengthening employee experience, and building people-focused processes that support organizational growth. This is a recruitment-driven position focused on identifying and attracting top talent while partnering with leadership to improve hiring quality, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (Primary Focus)
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across multiple departments and levels of seniority.
- Develop sourcing strategies through LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, universities, networking events, and direct outreach.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create effective recruitment plans.
- Track recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and new-hire retention.
- Support employer branding initiatives that strengthen Spaxel’s ability to attract top talent.
People Operations
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent employee experience.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and people-related documentation.
- Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
- Monitor employee engagement and help identify opportunities to improve retention and workplace satisfaction.
Organizational Development
- Help identify talent gaps and workforce needs across the organization.
- Support leadership in building high-performing teams and succession plans.
- Assist in developing training and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, people operations, HR, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing multiple hiring processes simultaneously.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
