EU funded project “Countering Discrimination, Hate Speech and Gender-based Violence” contract nr 2022/441-438”

Programme overview

Advocacy Training and Resource Center (ATRC) has the honour of notifying all interested parties for the Call for Project Proposals aiming to award EUR 50,000 divided into 5 awards in the amount of EUR EUR 10,000.

The aim of the project, implemented by ATRC, Internews Kosova and Democracy for Development is to “Increase institutional transparency and accountability and enhanced citizens’ awareness and mobilization to counter discrimination, hate speech and gender-based violence.”

This Call for Project Proposals will provide an opportunity for local youth CSOs which operate and work in Kosovo to implement actions in the human rights, education, democracy, rule of law, women rights, more specifically the prospective applicants will propose creative ideas and request support for activities that promote and protect human rights, enhanced citizens’ awareness and mobilization to counter discrimination, hate speech and gender-based violence.

They may propose research, investigative reporting, and awareness raising activities, plus other ways to directly engage society in dialogue with public authorities at the central and local levels of governance. This Call for Project Proposals contain one LOT:

LOT I: “Counter discrimination, hate speech and gender-based violence through engagement of youth.”

The total project budget for any financial support requested under this Call for Project Proposals must fall between the following amounts:

Lot I: Maximum amount of EUR 10,000– Duration: 6 months up to 12 months

Applications can be submitted in Albanian, Serbian, or English.

The first information session will be held on December 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., virtually through the respective platforms. While the second session at the beginning of January, regarding it will be notified through social media.
