Position Summary:
We are seeking a Project Designer to join our team, specifically supporting one of our third-party client accounts. This is a key design leadership role responsible for translating the Creative Director's vision into thoughtful, well-resolved interiors across a range of project types. Working closely with leadership, this role leads day-to-day design development from concept through client approval. The ideal candidate shapes the design narrative within an established creative direction, ensuring that all design decisions balance aesthetics, function, budget, and client priorities. This role serves as the bridge between concept and execution, maintaining design integrity while advancing projects efficiently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead concept development, spatial planning, and design execution for assigned projects, guided by the established creative direction.
- Create space plans, furniture layouts, and visual presentations that clearly express the project vision.
- Develop mood boards, material palettes, and design narratives aligned with client goals and approved budgets.
- Oversee the preparation of design presentations, ensuring clarity, polish, and consistency with brand standards.
- Lead client-facing design meetings and presentations once creative direction is established.
- Clearly communicate design rationale, intent, and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.
- Interpret and incorporate client feedback while preserving the integrity of the approved design concept.
- Coordinate design direction with external teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, as needed.
- Partner closely with procurement and specialist teams to ensure all finishes, materials, and furnishings align with the design intent.
- Provide design input during Value Engineering (VE) discussions to preserve quality while meeting budget requirements.
- Stay current with emerging design trends and innovations relevant to core markets, including multifamily and affordable housing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- English communication skills (both written and verbal) are required (C1 or C2 level of proficiency).
- Strong conceptual, spatial, and design execution skills.
- Deep expertise in color, materiality, and composition.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Leadership mindset with a collaborative, mentorship-driven approach.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and presentation tools (SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to balance creative ambition with project constraints, budgets, and delivery timelines.

- Schedule: Monday–Thursday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. After the first three months, employees are eligible to work remotely on Fridays from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
