Call for expression of interest

The project “Centres for Migration and Development (ZME)” financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and implemented by GIZ, advocates for enhancing the support system for the socio-economic reintegration of gender-based violence survivors.

The focus of this assignment is to develop and prepare a module-based on-the-job training program for employees involved in the socio-economic reintegration of survivors of gender based and domestic violence. This includes conducting a needs analysis to enhance training effectiveness, as well as developing manuals and guidelines to improve the use of existing tools such as referral systems, inter-institutional communication channels, and mentoring. The assignment also involves reviewing feedback from previous products and suggesting improvements to optimize support and integration processes for survivors.

“Centres for Migration and Development” invites qualified consulting companies to submit an expression of interest in developing needed materials for the “Enhancing Support Systems and Socio-Economic Reintegration for Survivors of Domestic and Gender-Based Violence” activity.

The checklist below provides further information about the conditions and expectations. Based on responses to this Request for Information, GIZ will pre-qualify companies that will receive an Inquiry and will be formally invited to submit their offers with detailed specifications. Response to the RFI does not necessarily imply that the company will receive an offer for a contract for the assignment to develop a proposal.

Based on the outcome of offers, GIZ will offer a contract to the selected company. Please note that all correspondence and dealing with the GIZ must be in English language.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

1. Proof of company’s legal status (registration and/or certification documentation, status), company details (name, postal address).

2. Average annual turnover for the last three fiscal years, at least 50,000 Euros/annually. Please provide reports from the Tax Administration of Kosova.

3. Average number of employees and managers for the past three calendar years: at least 6 persons. Confirmation from the Tax Administration of Kosova is required.

4. Proven experience in socio economic support for beneficiaries and capacity development (two references/projects) and

5. Proven experience working in different projects in Kosovo (three references/projects in the last three years)

All documents must be submitted in English language but do not need to be verified by a court translator and simple copy of documents is sufficient. All documents must be submitted in English language.

After the evaluation of received expressions of interest, the chosen companies will be contacted and invited to take part in the tender. GIZ shall not bear any costs and expenses incurred by any bidder during the tender procedure and shall retain right to accept or refuse completely any offer, annul, or repeat the procedure at any time before the execution of a contract, holding at the same time no liability towards the bidders, and shall have no responsibility to provide reasons for such decision. The tender dossier will be sent only to short listed service providers.
