USAID KOSOVO ADAPT ACTIVITY
Request for Proposals (ADAPT-188-1115-002)
ARD Inc., acting on behalf of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Kosovo Adapt Activity, is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to conduct a Feasibility Study on Flood Risk Management and Climate Adaptation in the municipality of Klina, Kosovo. The study aims to examine current flood risks, propose measures to reduce the impact of flooding and recommend strategies for adapting to climate change.
Key objectives include:
- Validate existing flood risk mapping including existing and projected risks;
- Identify and evaluate potential flood risk management strategies and measures based on identified flood risks within the municipality of Klina;
- Recommend the most feasible and effective flood risk management solutions;
- Develop an implementation plan for the recommended measures, including cost estimates, timelines and funding options.
Offerors must have the requisite prior experience and expertise in conducting studies of similar nature in Kosovo, region or international.
The following calendar summarizes important dates in the solicitation process. Offerors must strictly follow these deadlines. These dates may be modified at the sole discretion of ARD Inc. Any changes to these dates will be published in an amendment to the RFP, which will be announced publicly.
