Request for Proposals (ADAPT-188-1115-003)

ARD Inc., implementer of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Kosovo Adapt Activity, is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to establish a Rainwater Harvesting System for Landscape Irrigation at the Technical Faculties Campus in Prishtina, Kosovo. This initiative aims to tackle water scarcity, decrease reliance on municipal water supplies, offer students hands-on learning opportunities, and serve as an innovative approach to effective water resource management.

The key objective is establishing the water conservation system through:

  1. Installation of a rainwater harvesting system from the rooftop and utilization of the rainwater for irrigation of green areas of technical faculty.
  2. Installation of the combined irrigation system (drip and sprinkler) for irrigation of green areas of technical faculty.

Offerors must have the requisite prior experience and expertise in implementing projects/contracts of similar nature in Kosovo, region or international. Offerors are required to meet the USAID 937 geographic code in accordance with the United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), 22 CFR §228

The following calendar summarizes important dates in the solicitation process. Offerors must strictly follow these deadlines. These dates may be modified at the sole discretion of ARD Inc. Any changes to these dates will be published in an amendment to the RFP, which will be communicated to the firms that have requested the RFP.

RFP published: December 20, 2024

Mandatory Site visit: during January 8-10, 2025

(10 am – 12 noon)

Deadline for written questions: 16:00, January 17, 2025

Answers provided to questions/clarifications: January 21, 2025

Proposal due date: 16:00, January 31, 2025
